The 3rd Beer Town Film Festival screening schedule and award ceremony sponsored by Marston’s Brewery.
In a year filled with it’s own events, it has been fantastic to see the entries come in thick and fast, and we are very proud to say we have had a fantastic turnout this year once again with over 750 entries.
It’s has also been great to see the dedication and innovative work within the short film industry this year. We have had some really original work come through despite the challenges we have all faced. So much so, we have chosen to create our very own ‘Lockdown’ category whereby any projects that had been submitted with a direct link to Covid-19 or innovative work done in the space of your own homes were automatically entered.
This year, we will be holding the festival virtually based on the latest government restrictions for groups of people meeting. The event and screenings will now take place online via Zoom over the 1st, 2nd and 3rd October (full details below). It would be fantastic to see all your faces and welcome you all to this online event. We will have live chat rooms for everyone to socialise and network as well as the live stream.
We will screen our selected films on October 1st & 2nd. We are also delighted to announce we will be joined by head judge of our fiction category and actor Steven Hartley for a live Q&A before the screening on Friday 2nd October.
On Saturday 3rd October we will be hosting our awards event.
