The final judging is now taking place for the Beer Town Film Festival across five unique categories for the UK-wide short film competition.
Launched last September, the competition received 796 entries from all over the country before the closing date at the end of March. It is now down to the panel of twenty judges to whittle the short list down to three finalists before choosing the category winners and the overall festival winner.
Film festival judge and head brewer at Marston’s Patrick McGinty said: “We have been thrilled with the interest shown in our first ever film festival and, as a result, the standard of entries is very high. It’s going to be a tough job to choose the winning films.”
